They Don't Use Words To Inform

Places like CNN don't really use words to inform - they use them to create an impression and groom their viewers to act in a certain way. They don't tell you what's actually happening, they tell you an invented storyline that nudges you in a certain direction.

This may be true of almost all media, actually, but places like CNN seem to be more egregious than others. Maybe they're just more blatant.

Even more insidious are web sites like Google. They feign being sources of "information", but are actually highly curated and filtered down to what they have decided to let you know about.
