Biblecrunch
So I'm resurrecting some of the stuff I did a few years ago with a site called biblecrunch.com. I was experimenting with a variety of ways to visualize information from the biblical text.
Back then, I did that work because it was a way to learn Python and experiment with Django. I'm redoing some of that but making it entirely resident in a web page rather than doing all the work on the server. I'm producing a Javascript library that will make it easy for any website to embed a simple bible investigative tool within any web page. It will act like an interactive concordance but you'll be able to create charts and graphs of statistical data (e.g. bar charts for where the word "love" occurs in the biblical text)
Anyway, I have a longstanding interest in computational linguistics and this is a way to scratch that itch. I won't be bringing up a separate site. I'll make this available here on keithlowery.com.
More to come.
