Our response to these riots must be, as always, to keep our eyes on the reality that we are living behind enemy lines in a battle between good and evil for the possession of souls. Such focus is easier said than done, especially in the midst of great chaos. Our true enemy does not care whether we storm the Capitol, or if we take to Twitter to condemn those who do. He does not care if we support the President, or seek his removal from office.  And he is just as happy if we choose to ignore it all and devote ourselves to harmless activities like gardening or card playing. He only means to separate us from our Lord, and he doesn’t give a whit which distractions we indulge in to bring that about. - Douglas Johnson
